are we there yet?

We were suppose to leave last night but next thing we knew it was 10 pm and by the time we would have reached lompoc, it would have been like 3 am so that seemed pointless.

woke up at 8 am and it is now almost 10 but we still have yet to leave....

oh well still better than being at work..hahaha

YAY FOR THE CARNIVAL CRUISE

DAY 1 - Flew to San Diego Airport super early. Thanks to my little sister for driving us to SFO. We were starving by the time we got there so we ate at a cafe. When we finally got on the ship, we realized we probably shouldn't have eaten at that cafe because all we would be doing for the next 5 days was eat. We explored the ship and that night before getting dinner, we checked out Drama bar and the sushi bar for some appetizers. After dinner we checked out the comedy show then we called it a night.

DAY 2 - Activities on board. Eat, sleep and play. We checked out the minigolf, pingpong, and jacuzzi. There was a hairy chest competition, the guys joined the pingpong tournament while Ethel and I attempted to tan. Then came high tea time! Took a nap then of course dinner again. Our servers were awesome! Djedje and Anita really took care of us. After dinner was a midnight comedy show.
DAY 3 - Cabo San Lucas. Thanks Ethel for planning everything. We went parasailing, had gelato at Senior Sweets and snorkeled at Lover's beach. Then we ate tacos of course! Then back to the ship for a nap, comedic hynosis show and of course dinner!

DAY 4 - At sea. On our way back up north, the weather was gloomy and we didn't really get to enjoy the activities as much. We did check out the card room and casino and a midnight comedic hynosis show.

DAY 5 - Ensenda! It was just a bunch of shops and we just went shopping a little and of course had some tacos. Back to the ship for some high noon tea of course, dinner and the legends talent show.

DAY 6 - docked back in San Diego. We tried to squeeze in one last breakfast and we headed to San Diego Airport. We waited a bit because our flight wasn't till 1:20 but we made it back home in one piece. Thanks Eugene, May and Shell for picking us up at BART.

Now we're back to reality. I miss chili cheese fries, the desserts, animal towels, no phone or blackberry, not worrying about laundry or bills or my weight! Who wants to go with us next time???
